Welcome to my home on the web!

I am a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) and will be practicing as an ND in Toronto starting in October 2010. I also work part-time at Peaches & Green health food store on Bayview Avenue and at Body of Knowledge Healing Arts on Eglinton Avenue West.

I first became interested in natural medicine in 2002 while studying in Mexico on an international exchange. I was eating poorly and wondering why I felt tired, bloated, and irritable so much of the time. I began to follow the basic Blood Type Diet recommendations and felt much better within a week! Once back in Canada, I continued learning about nutrition, fitness, and natural health and continued to see improvements in my health.

In 2003, I graduated from Queen’s University with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree and began working in consumer packaged goods. My interest in natural medicine continued to develop in my spare time until by late 2004 I decided that I wanted to spend my time doing what I was passionate about, which meant that I needed to make natural medicine my career. I spent most of 2005 preparing for this next step and began my studies at CCNM in early 2006. The past four years have been both challenging and incredibly rewarding!

In addition to my studies at CCNM, I have pursued education in personalized nutrition through the Institute for Human Individuality and classical homeopathy with Joseph Kellerstein DC ND. In 2007 I travelled to India and completed a one-month program on Traditional Medicine in India through Child Family Health International. I have also preceptored with many wonderful practitioners, such as Robert Dronyk DC ND, William Dronyk DC ND, Robert Taylor DO, Peter D’Adamo ND, Joseph Kellerstein DC ND, and Helena Ovens ND. Most recently I have completed a 4-month externship at the Kew Beach Natural Health Clinic focusing on homeopathy with Helena Ovens ND FCAH CCH.

Upon graduating from CCNM, I was the recipient of the Governors’ Award of Excellence for outstanding academic performance. I am a member of both the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND).

I believe in promoting wellness on all levels: physical, mental, emotional, and energetic. This approach requires recognition of individual needs and development in order to create a personalized treatment plan. I am eager to work with patients of all ages and I have a special interest in the following areas:
